Your front door gives you protection from fire in the communal area and other resident’s protection from fire in your property

Report any items left in the communal corridor to your housing officer

Plan an escape route and make sure everyone in your family know
Practice your escape; make a game of it with children so if you need to get out in an emergency they do not panic
